June Fun

June was a lot of fun! We got busy with baseball and had many games and tournaments. It was fun to watch the boys play again. We also had some fun adventures, a family reunion, and even a wedding! It was great to be with family!
We went to see the poppies in Alpine. They were so pretty.
The boys loved wandering through the field.
It was a beautiful day!
Mom loves hiking with her boys.
Another adventure took us to the International Peace Gardens
We had some great discussions about different cultures.
Mom has a lot of Welsh blood, so she was excited for the Wales statue.
We also visited the fairies at Gardner Village.
Mom was the only one who took pics with the fairy wings.
The boys were more excited to feed the ducks.
Our final stop that day was the Conservation Garden park.
We finally convinced Dad to take everyone fishing at Tibble Fork.
Dax caught two fish and we ate them!
Seth found this handy dandy stick to hold his pole.
Mom and Dad got to try a new restaurant in Salt Lake.
The Blue Iguana was delicious.
Seth lost his first tooth!!
We got all dressed up for Brittany's wedding.
Seth was a big dancer!
Dax mostly made faces.
Ben followed Mark everywhere. Oldest and youngest cousins.
Mark is a great cousin to everyone.
Seth loves to make silly faces.
Mom with her mom and sisters.
Mark got involved in the silly faces.
One more family pic.
Mom and Dad like to take pictures when they are fancy.
All the cousins on Mom's side.
Dax loved the soda drink station!
The whole gang!
We checked on the owls and found mom and two babies.
This is one of the fledglings.
Mark has been on a great hitting streak this season.
Mark loves playing baseball.
 Mark also pitched super well!
Dax's leads off for his team because he is so fast.
Dax pitches a little, but more often he is the catcher.
Dax had a tournament in Park City in June and Mom froze to death!
We ate at a real restaurant. It was exciting!
Mom and Mark spent a weekend in Cedar for baseball.
Seth started Coach Pitch with Dad as coach.
We got to check out Thirst one night for the blog. It was delicious!

May Fun

May was a lot of fun! We kicked it off with Dax's birthday, and then we tried to find lots of outdoor adventures since we were still social distancing. Dad wasn't at school as much, so we were able to fit in lots of waterfall hikes! We also looked forward to June when maybe we could do some vacations.

Dax had soap all over his face after the shower one night. We all chuckled pretty good!

We took Randy's Dad out of the house for the first time since Covid-19 came about. We went to Farmington Bay for a bird drive and had lots of fun!

The best part were the baby coots that we saw. Look at his little wings!

On our favorite new hike we found had a rope swing. It was so much fun!

Dad went the furthest on the swing.

All of the boys loved swinging across the trail.

Seth loved it the most!

The waterfall was pretty, too!

We went on another waterfall hike to Farmington Creek.

The hike was pretty.

The waterfall was amazing. We dipped our hats to cool off.

The boys found these fun seats along the Farmington Creek Trail.

We also ran into BigFoot on one trail.

We were so excited to eat at a restaurant again.

We tried to visit Grandpa Ockey a lot. The boys exchanged puzzles with him.

A new ice cream place opened in Lehi, and we are addicted.

Hiking with the boys is super fun!

We are getting so good at family selfies.

Thank goodness for trees to help you cross the river.

Moss Ledge Waterfall was a big adventure.

We have taken a few bike rides along the lake to see the great horned owl.

We took the boys to Handel's and they loved it, too.

BYU sold CougarTails one day, so we had to go get one!

TropicalSno invited us to come check out their sno cones, and they were really good!

Airborne opened up, so we took some friends and had a fun outing.

We let each of the boys invite a friend. It was so fun to have a mini "Corona" party.

We visited Dripping Rock again.

They have added this fun suspension bridge at the end of the trail.

I love this picture of Dax and Seth hiking together.

We climbed to the Escalante Cross and there were great views of Utah Valley.

It was a stormy day, but we made it to the cross.

Here we are on another waterfall hike.

Seth got a little dirty, so Randy held him upside down to wash his face.

This trail was really beautiful.

Salt Creek Waterfall.

Mark had a baseball tournament in Cedar City, and we visited this mural painted by our friend.

We visited a little bird refuge in the heart of SLC.

It was shady and beautiful.

Seth found a very purple flower for me.

Dad got to say goodbye to a few of his students.

Seth had a drive-by last day of school to pick up his things.
Mrs. Hanson was his first grade teacher.

Dax is loving that we go fishing a little more often.

Mark was the only one to catch a fish on this trip to Provo Canyon.

Seth had his final Let's Play Music recital remotely.

We will miss Ms. Julie so much! She was an amazing teacher.

We raised some butterflies during May. It was neat to watch the monarchs change.

Releasing the butterflies was the most exciting part.
