Bear Lake without Mark and Daniel was a bit different, but Tiffany showed up with massive pictures of their heads on sticks. The two heads accompanied us everywhere this year. They went to the beach, the play, and hung around the new house. At least that kept our missionaries in the front of our minds. This was also the year we met Brittany's newest, J.T, who stayed in Montpelier and came down to St. Charles each day.

This year we stayed in a brand new house right next to our old favorite, the Rawhide Rendezvous. This house had a lot of space and a nice yard. We enjoyed meals together and s'mores around the fire ring.
We spent two days at the beach, and the water was much lower than normal. The kids loved the sand and the kayaks on the first day. On the second day, Bob decided to rent wave runners. The boys loved this, and Dax was a key driver because Dad's back wasn't up to it. Dax took Mom out once, and gave many other rides.
