Spring Sports

Seth played soccer this Spring with his same Fire Balls team. His coach has been so kind and helpful with the team, and Seth loved playing with a few of his friends. He scored a lot of goals, and even got to play goalie a few times. Seth was a strong leader for his team, and we were proud of how he played this season.

This was the best picture Seth would take for me.

Seth scored this goal!

Seth played really well this season!

Seth and his friend Tommy have played together for quite a few seasons, but Tommy moved to a new home. We will miss him!

Dax also played soccer in the Spring with his same team. He has had the same coach for a few years and Dax loves playing for him. He is a great coach who helps the boys learn so much, but also teaches them to be great young men. Dax played with a lot bigger kids this year, but he still was a leading scorer on his team. He is so fast that he can outrun most of the other kids, even if they are two or three years older. Dax even scored one header goal this season! It was amazing.

Dax has quite the get up when he plays soccer.

Dax is a strong kicker.

Always running!!

Baseball is never ending at our house! Dax continued to play with the Barons and he had a great time hitting in Monday Night Lights. He enjoys playing baseball, and we love watching him play.

Dax is a stellar outfielder.

Dax has a lot of great teammates.

Dax is a good baserunner.

We've enjoyed baseball games down in Orem.

Happy to be playing baseball.

Ockey!

Mark played for the Lehi High School freshman team. He loved the kids on his team, and had a ton of fun being a part of the Lehi baseball family. Mark played a lot of centerfield, as well as the other outfield positions. He also pitched quite a bit, and was very successful. We loved watching Mark play this Spring.

Mark is a fast outfielder.

It was fun watching Mark play right by the Lehi Roller Mills.

Mark came in one game and pitched like a champ. Then he became a consistent pitcher all season.

Mark helped his team win lots of games.

His coach made all the boys go to the 9th grade dance. It was awesome!

Lehi Freshman baseball

Seth played for a Lehi City team this year, and he was lucky enough to get drafted by the Red Sox and our friend was the coach. Dad was the assistant coach, too. Seth absolutely loved it! Seth was a great hitter, fielder, and pitcher. But where he really excelled was catching. He rarely let anything get passed him, and he even threw some people out. We loved watching Seth be a leader on his team, and help them win lots of games.

Oh my! Seth's poses are hilarious.

He is the cutest little baseball player.

Seth played a lot of shortstop.

He was such an important catcher for his team.

He loved scoring!

Seth was also a good pitcher!

Amazing April

April started with a huge trip to California, but we still had a whole month of fun ahead of us. One day the boys had school off while Dad had meetings, so we went to check out some new parks and enjoy our favorite bird drive.
Mark was a great jumper.

This park was so fun. It has a little fire station.

Mark won the award for the slowest slide ever.

Seth loves checking out new parks.

Dax love to relax.

We spotted a fox driving between the two parks.

We saw two coyotes at the Waterfowl Area.

We thought this was a bird, but it is a turtle.

Ruddy ducks are always cool to see.

Great Egret

Great Blue Heron

This is one of our favorite places in Utah.

This spot is right by the Great Salt Lake.

Shortly after our trip to California, Dax, Seth and Mom headed to Las Vegas for a baseball tournament. They had a wonderful time hanging out with the Pooles.
Road trip!

The cousins came to watch Dax play baseball.

This is the second time we got to eat the Passover dinner with the  Pooles.

We found a few new parks in Las Vegas.

Ben loves hanging out with Dax.

This park was so fun with the cousins.

These two spent a lot of time playing together.

We had a picnic, too.

When we got home, we ate a passover dinner with Mark and Dad.

Mom and Dad make sure to go on dates.

Mom got to read books with Seth at Books and Buddies.

Enjoyed some Handel's ice cream for Highland Spirit Night.

Dax always gets mint ice cream.

Grandpa Daniels was made the stake patriarch. It was such a special day to be able to watch him be ordained, and then enjoy dinner with some of the family.
Mom made a beautiful trifle.

One half of the table.

The other half.

Seth hasn't been able to have swimming lessons for a long time. We are always so busy in the summer, so we decided to do some swimming lessons during the school year. It was fun to watch him progress and become a great swimmer. He is much more confident in the water now.
Seth loved swimming!

Seth really became a great little swimmer.

Baseball season never stops, and April was an adventurous month for baseball. One day it was warm, the next it was snowing. Grandma and Grandpa came down for a weekend to watch Dax play in a tournament.
It snowed and was freezing at this game.

Grandma and Grandpa are great supporters of the boys' sports.

We updated our Junior Ranger badges after our April trip. They have earned so many badges since we first got these vest. Check out this post for the first pic!

There are badges all over the back, too!

Seth has grown up so much.

Mark has been doing Junior Ranger programs for a long time.
