Halloween

Halloween gets calmer and calmer every year. This year only Seth wanted to dress up. Dad dressed up, too, but that's part of his job description. Seth had a very specific costume, so we ordered his Leonardo ninja turtle costume and just enjoyed Halloween. Mark and Dax wore jerseys to school, and then Dax created this amazing Snake (sniper) costume after school so he could go trick or treating with Seth.

Dax and Seth ready for trick or treating.

Mom went out for the Halloween party.

Dad with his team. He is a Bigfoot Hunter! And look--there's Bigfoot!

Since Mom had been gone all weekend, we carved pumpkins Halloween afternoon. Mom didn't even carve a pumpkin. And Dad had saved a specific gourd for his Halloween display. But don't worry, Mom and Dad still scooped a lot of seeds out. The boys mostly carved on their own, and I think they all turned out great.

Seth carved his pumpkin mostly on his own.

I love finding Seth's selfies on my phone.

Dax used our mini pumpkin in his pumpkin carving.

Dad is always being super creative.

We always set our pumpkins on the porch.

Mark carved a tiny pumpkin.

Dax and Seth trick or treated for a little bit while Dad and Mark rocked out on the guitar and answered the door. Then we all sat and watched Hotel Transylvania until bedtime. It was a nice, relaxing Halloween.

Mark got dressed up for guitar playing.
