Mark went to two dances in the winter time. One in January and one in February. Both girls are friends of his for the last few years, so he had a lot of fun.
Winter Formal
The Winter Formal Dance happens in early January, so Mark and his friends planned to take the girls sledding at Horsetail Falls. They would hike up and then slide down. This activity turned out to be a lot of fun, even when one of his friend's cars got stuck in the snow. They were able to get it out. This was after the same friend had dropped his keys in the snow that they miraculously found. Quite the adventure!
We cracked up at this poster that was an answer back to Mark's poster like two days before the dance. |
It was the best day for sledding. |
No one got injured except one sled. It was a miracle. |

They went to dinner and photos little bit later. Mom chaperoned at the high school, so she got to say hi to everyone when they came in. She also helped them clean up since a lot of these kids are on student council. It was a fun event.

Sweethearts
Mark was asked to Sweethearts shortly after Winter Formal. Since it is a girls choice dance, Mark always appreciates not having to plan things. They made chocolates at Just Add Chocolate and Mark brought home some yummy treats.
Dax loved this poster the most because Mark let him eat the Taco Bell burrito she brought. |
