Thanksgiving was back to our normal visit with Grandma and Grandpa this year, although there were many times we all said, "We should have gone back to Hawaii for Thanksgiving." Maybe another year.
 |
| We stopped at Peach City on our way up to Blackfoot. |
Stephanie and her family came from North Dakota, and Melanie was there, too (without kids), and of course, Brittany and Grandma and Grandpa! So we had lots of fun just being together.
 |
| James wanted everyone to do pushups. |
 |
| Then he did his own! |
 |
| He also read this book 8000 times with Mom. |
We went to see Zootopia 2 because we love the little theater in Blackfoot. It has become a tradition. Grandpa spoiled us all with drinks and popcorn. And the movie was cute.
Later that afternoon, we all went outside to help Grandpa winterize the yard. He had a heart attack a week or so before, so we were all yelling at him to stop doing things. We picked up rotting apples, covered tables and chairs, moved things into the shed, and cleaned up a lot of leaves. The kids were great helpers.

| Always finding selfies on my phone. |
 |
| Shouldn't leave my camera lying around. Even these two took a selfie. |
Thanksgiving was a nice day, too. Mom made Alfajores in honor of Mark's favorite treat from Argentina. We enjoyed lots of our favorite dishes, and yummy pies. We also sat around and played games and watched football and basketball. The kids watch Blackbeard's Ghost, which is their favorite Thanksgiving tradition.
We headed back on Friday so we could be ready for Christmas trees. See our next post with info about that adventure!
