Orlando Day 9

Orlando Florida Temple
Our last day was a long one, but the kids handled it really well. That was probably because we got to sleep in until 8 for the first time all vacation. We realized the reason we'd gotten up early every morning when we got to breakfast and there were around a thousand people at the buffet.

After breakfast, we had an hour or two before we went to the airport, and Mom already had us all packed up. We decided to drive over to the the Orlando Temple. The weather was perfect and the boys posed beautifully. We were excited to add another temple to our books, especially since a new temple in Eagle Mountain was announced last week.
It was the perfect day to visit the temple.
Dax is wearing his new Star Wars hoodie.
Seth always has a great smile at the temple.
Mark has been to a lot of temples. I need to count.
Mark and Dax love to take pictures for Mom and Dad.
We were able to convince someone to take a family picture for us.
We also saw these beautiful Blue Jays.
Here is the female.
Finally, we got everyone loaded up in the van and returned to the airport. The flight was in two parts with a stopover in Detroit. The boys were unsure if they should count Michigan on their list of states since they never left the airport. If they do decide to count it, they'll be up to 12 states! (Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Nevada, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Florida, and Michigan.) There wasn't much sleeping on the flight, and though the layover was only an hour, it was still 9pm by the time we got the boys in bed. But other than laundry, we're all unpacked and ready for a new adventure. I hope it's a vacation from our vacation...
While we loaded the cars, the kids watched Disney Junior with Aunt Brittany.
The boys sat in one row all together on the flight to Detroit. They thought it was so fun!
We were all on the same plane, but in different rows.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for such an amazing trip!
We might have brought home a few shells from the beach.
We came home to these beautiful flowers.
