Dax's First General Conference

Dax was so excited to go to Conference for the first time.
Dax has been begging to go to General Conference every since he turned 8. Before Grandma and Grandpa began their church service mission at the Conference Center, they used to take people to conference every year. Grandpa had access to tickets as the stake clerk, but once the mission started, they weren't able to take the grandkids or anyone.

So this year we were able to snag a few conference tickets so that Dax could go. Mom, Mark, and Dax headed up to the Sunday afternoon session. Dax was amazed at all the people and was a little worried about some of the protestors, but once we were inside, we had a wonderful time.

We found Grandma and Grandpa working at their different areas. After giving them big hugs, we headed to our seats, which were way over on the far side. We could look right down the row of the Apostles, and we had a great view of President Nelson. The session was wonderful, and we loved hearing the newly announced temples. Dax seemed to enjoy himself, and even took a little nap halfway through. It was fun to go with him and let him have that experience of being in the same room as the Prophet.
Grandma was so exited to see us!
We had to search for Grandpa, but we found him!
Dax was so excited, and you can see how far to the side we sat.
We loved seeing the Prophet!
