August Fun

August was a busy month. The first weekend was spent camping at Mirror Lake. The next week was spent in Park City. And then it was time for school. School looks a little different this year with the boys wearing masks all the time and a shorter day, but we are so glad that they are back in school. Baseball is in full swing in August, and Melanie drove through on her way back east on her epic adventure. The best August Fun memory was going on the boat with Glen to try out a new tube. Mom even went and didn't get too sick. It was good practice for our upcoming Fall Break trip.

We had to get sno cones before summer ended.

First day of school for everyone!

8th, 5th, and 2nd

Mom had to go out and help Dad on his first day with some technology glitches.

We taught the boys how to play Bang!. Now that's all they want to do.

We also went to Thanksgiving Point for some $2 Tuesday adventures. We visited the Farm and the Museum of Natural Curiosity. We really liked that we could reserve tickets this year.

Seth loves to feed the goats.

Mark also enjoys feeding the animals.

Dax does not love feeding the animals, but he did feed the chickens.

It's a stare down.

Crazy boys!

There was a new exhibit in the Museum of Natural Curiosity.

We had fun with all the different measurement activities.

Dax in a tornado.

Everyone was soaked after this adventure.

But they had a good time playing together.

We went to the brand new opening of Handel's in Orem.

The new tube was fun because you got to sit in it.

Mark still loves this tube.

Mom did pretty well at not getting sick on the boat.

The water was freezing.

Seth prefers to chill on the boat.

Lots of different rides with Dad.

Dax holds on for dear life. He will not get thrown off.

Seth and Dad took a nice calm ride across the lake.

Mom and Dad are so cute.

Dax and Seth loved getting in the water on this trip.

They had a ton of fun!

We tried out a new toy to see if it helped not splash as much water.

We had a great time out on the lake.

We went for a walk to Bridal Veil Falls one Sunday afternoon.

The boys found some nice rock beds.

We met up with our friends from the Salt Project.

Mark and Seth playing piano together.

Grandma and Grandpa brought Mom this old picture from high school.

The Webbs stayed here for a few days.

Grandpa came to watch some baseball games on a freezing day.
