August Adventures

Grandpa invited us up for a Chukars Game. We love hanging out with the Ferlans and watching baseball. It was especially fun to sit in the box and get food delivered to us!

The box was supplied with hamburgers, chips, fruit, and pop!

It also had an outside area to sit and enjoy the game.

Mom liked being with Steph, who was just a little pregnant.

There were almost enough seats outside for all of us.

Dad and Dax had the opportunity to go to the Provo City Temple. Dax is trying to visit as many as temples as he can. They also stopped for some yummy ice cream at Rockwell Ice Cream.

Dax and Dad went to Provo Town Center Temple.

Then they grabbed ice cream, which is Dax's favorite treat.

We went on our annual trip to Lagoon. It was a really fun day. Mark and Dax rode Cannibal many times, and Seth decided that Colossus was the coolest ride. He rode it probably 10 times. We also had a super fun time riding Rattlesnake Rapids. We all go soaked.

It was a perfect day, and we enjoyed our annual trip to Lagoon.

Mark and Dax waited in a lot of lines together.

The Rattlesnake Rapids was long enough to get a drink.

Dad got a little wet on the rapids.

Seth enjoyed his shower.

Mom took Dax and Seth on The Bat.

We squeezed into a selfie at Jet Star 2.

Seth's favorite ride is always the bumper cars.

Mark finished everything he needed and received his drivers license. It was a big day! He drove to baseball practice that afternoon.

It's a long process that Mark has been working on for months.

The old van is now "Mark's Van."

The first day of school was eventful. All three boys were starting at new schools this year. Mark headed to high school as a 10th grader, Dax started as a 7th grader at the junior high, and Seth was going to Highland with Dad. Everyone is having a great year!

Dax is finally moved on from elementary school.

Mom gave him a ride to Willowcreek on Day 1.

Seth left Dry Creek Elementary School, too.

He's spending his days at Highland with Dad.

Mark can't drive his friends for 6 months, but he drives himself.

We went on a few adventures toward the end of August. One of them was to the Aerospace Museum. We haven't been to this museum since Seth was a few months old. We loved recreating the memory and seeing how the museum has changed.

This is a pretty cool museum that happens to be free.

Seth thinks he'll be jumping out of an airplane.

It's been almost exactly 10 years since our last visit.

Our last big adventure in August was down in Ephraim Canyon. Randy wanted to take the boys fishing at Community where he always went fishing as a kid. We had a great time and caught a bunch of fish. And then we drove to the top of Ephraim Canyon, which sits at 10,000 feet. It was a fun Saturday.

Dax is learning to fish all by himself.

The fish at Community are not huge.

But they are pretty easy to catch.

Ephraim Canyon is beautiful.

Dad doesn't fish, but he does handle a lot of fish.

We drove all the way to Skyline Drive.

Mom and Dad hadn't been to the top in 20 years.

It is a beautiful drive right on top of the mountain.

And here are a few other fun pics from August! It was a month full of adventure.

Mom was cleaning up some old costumes, which didn't fit Dax.

Dax finally got his braces off.

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit.

We did and escape room together for the website.

Mom and Mark went to a comedy show at the Scera.

Seth won a squash at Activity Days.
