July Jubilee

The Red Sox were such a great team.

We had a busy July, but there are two more things that we need to share from this month. First, Seth's Red Sox city league team made it to state, so he had a bunch of games in July. They played great. Seth hit the ball well, but he was most valuable at catcher. He threw kids out and blocked most of the balls that came to the plate. Seth also pitched quite a bit. The Red Sox made it to the knockout round after winning all of their pool play games. Unfortunately they lost in the semi-finals, but it was a great season. Seth had so much fun playing with this team.

Mom surprised Dad with tickets to ride the Scenic Tram Ride at Sundance. They hadn't been on a date for a while, so it was nice to get away. The ride was beautiful. The mountain views were amazing! We even spotted a group of bucks. There were about 10 of them hanging out in the trees. We enjoyed watching them on the ride up and down. At the top of the tram ride (which was actually 3 different lifts), there is a restaurant and we ate the famous nachos. They were super delicious. We also had some yummy dessert bars before heading back down the mountain. It was the perfect end to July.
