On our second day we went straight to Disneyland. During the morning we got most of our big ticket rides done. Of course, lines got really long after lunch. We had better luck today, too, with rides. Only Rise of the Resistance broke down and kicked us out of line.
Seth switched his favorite from Space Mountain to Indiana Jones. Mom and Dad really enjoyed the new Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railroad. Mark and Dax liked Thunder and Space Mountain. Then somehow, we magically got a fast pass to Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which shaved 2 hours off the wait. None of us really wanted to do that ride, but it turned out to be the most memorable. Despite some ponchos, we got absolutely soaked, with Dad riding in the front with Mark. They weighed the bow down and all the water came right over the front of the boat! We laughed until we dried!
The other exciting thing at the park today was the Savanah Bananas baseball team, who were clowning for everyone. We came across them multiple times and they were very interactive and fun with the kids. Mom also got to try all her favorite foods as we treated her with a churro, fresh raspberry macaroon, frozen lemonade, and a massive chicken sandwich. We even let her watch a bit of the light parade before we left the park. This day was much better than the last!
