April Fun

April really was fun! It was a different kind of fun, though. We had to cancel out spring break trip, and we couldn't go to anything that was indoors, but we tried to enjoy all of the extra time together. We weren't running around like crazy people to soccer and baseball games, so we had more time to play games and ride bikes. We also went on lots of hikes and fishing quite a few times, too.

We did some fun sidewalk chart art.
We also did a lot of art classes online.
Dax and Mom made homemade croutons that were delicious.
Our favorite little pond is the best place to fish.
The boys love going. We even saw a muskrat this day.
Mom and Dad sort of love fishing.
Seth's school did a teacher parade and we went out to wave to everyone.
Mom was the most excited to see all the teachers.
The Owl came, too!
We had a great General Conference.
Seth and I made strawberry jam.
He mostly liked licking the bowl.
We have been having Zoom calls with the Daniels Family. It has been so fun!
We all put on the masks that Grandma made for us for one of the Zoom calls.
Mark and Dad have done more puzzles than you can count.
Laurie and Glen stopped by and they got roped into doing puzzles, too.
More fishing. This time at Manila Creek Pond.
It was a beautiful day, but no fish were caught.
One day in the car, Dax said, "Mom, I love these Memes." He was reading Far Side Comics.
Randy and I realized how old we were.
Not one, but two snakes under the deck.
We got some new games, and the boys were thrilled.
The games were glow in the dark games, and we had a lot of fun playing together.
Mark and Dad had to battle it out.
Mom even got roped into playing.
Dax made up a fun Animal Quest game. He is always creating things.
Every day. The boys get their sports cards out every day and sort them into new piles.
We tried to support local businesses and one night we picked up some grill at home J Dawgs.  They were so good!
The boys and Mom also grabbed some pretzels from the pretzel truck.
We walked along the Jordan River trail a few times.
Fat Cats Saratoga Springs handed out free popcorn, so we had to go get some!
Trying to survive Covid-19 Quarantine!
Dax's coach had a birthday, so we did a little birthday parade for him.
It was fun to see everyone on Dax's team!
Mark had to make a game for his Utah History class, so we got to play another homemade game.
Dad hates wasps. It is hilarious to watch his rage!
We have loved church at home.
Mark had the assignment to deep clean his room. It was his best homework assignment ever.
One day we rode along our favorite bike trail because we heard there was a baby owl.
There are so many fun places to explore down by the lake. We feel lucky to live so close to this area.
We love where we live!
We found the mom and the owlet at home!
The cute little owl kept peeking over at us.
Mom was trying to sleep.
We had an FHE lesson at the temple.
We are glad that we are sealed together forever.
The youth in our ward were able to attend a Zoomside with Nik Day and his wife, Darla.
He wrote the song Peace in Christ and many other church songs.
We did an awesome hike to Gordon Creek Falls.
These prickly pear flowers were so pretty.
This waterfall was so cool. You could walk right to the top.
We also drove the Nine Mile Canyon, which is full of petroglyphs.
There was a huge buffalo petroglyph that we super cool!
Seth was being a mountain goat with the petroglyphs.
Family Picture!
