Mark is growing up so fast! |
Mark asked one of his friends in our ward to Homecoming for his senior year. Mark and his friends also decided that they wanted to float the Provo River even though the water was probably going to be pretty cold. The girls were excited, and some were smart and wore wetsuits. Dad's friend, Mr. Herrman helped us haul the tubes from UVU to the Provo River, so Dad got to see everybody set off down the river. They had a wonderful time (except for one girl who cut her elbow helping someone in a stuck tube--poor thing).
The girls were such good sports. |
It was so hot the week before, but pretty chilly this day! They still had fun! |
They made it safely home and had just a little bit of time before they had to head off and take pictures. The group headed back up the canyon to take their pictures, which turned out amazing! There fall leaves were just the beginning to turn.

Mom and Dad were excited because the boys had enjoyed the picnic in the park so much last year that they wanted to do it again. We headed up and decorated the pavilion and served Costa Vida for dinner. Since it was later in the month, it got dark quickly, so Mom added some lights to the decor. She was so glad she did since the kids just wanted to sit and chat. Seth was a great helper, too! Who knows where Dax was!
The set up turned out so cute! |
Mom added some fall colors to the decor this year. |
One more pic of these two cuties |
The girls in dresses were trying to stay warm. |
I loved how the lights turned out! |
Then Mark and his group headed to the school for the dance where they had tons of fun and even helped clean up since part of their group were on student council. Afterward they hung out at Mark's best friends' home until curfew. Mark had a wonderful time! It was a great senior Homecoming night.
