The Incision

I was wondering what Seth's incision would look after the surgery. The surgeon said it would be on his side and back. So today they took the big bandaid off that covered it. The incision is still covered in steri strips (just like my C-section incision), but you can see how big it is, and it is actually completely on his back. The bandage below is where the drainage tube went between his ribs.

  1. Oh my goodness, what a tough little champ! He looks soooo good Natalie, and you do too! I am so glad he's improving. Again, we love you and are thinking of you.

  2. Poor little guy!!! I am glad he is doing so well, though. Hope his parents are too. You guys have had such a tough week. Still thinking of you!!!!

  3. So I guess you two have matching battle scars from this birth. They are special honors because of what they represent--your brave little boy! My C-section scar just reminds me there is nothing I wouldn't do for my kids!

  4. Wow, that makes the whole thing even more terrifying!
